This is my first time to take a SESSION Pilates class. Do you recommend that I take a private session first?
Unlike traditional Pilates, our group class format doesn’t require a private session. Our skilled instructors are great at adjusting and modifying for all fitness levels. However, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints, or a severe medical condition, we recommended you take a private first to assess your fitness level. If you have concerns about your ability to participate in a group class, please let us know and we will gladly assess whether it is appropriate.
Do you have lockers/showers?
We do have cubbies for you to store your belongings in while taking class, but there are no showers. But don’t worry, we have lots of products for you to freshen up with.
Do you provide water?
Yes! You can purchase a water for $3.
How early should I arrive to class?
If it is your first time we recommend arriving 10 minutes before the class so that we can walk you through our studio and equipment. If it isn’t your first time we recommend 5 minutes before the class.
What if I arrive late?
As we recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before the class, we understand that life may happen. In the case that you are more than 5 minutes late to class your reserved spot may be forfeited to a standby client. Cancellations with in 12 hours of the start time will be assessed a no show fee of $25.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear something that is comfortable to move in and you would traditionally wear to work out or do yoga in. For safety and sanitary reasons we require all clients wear non-slip socks while on the reformer. We have non-slip socks available for purchase for $20.
Where should I park?
We have a few parking spots along the side of our building on the corner of Cole and Fitzhugh. If those are all occupied you can park curbside along Cole Ave.
How old do you have to be to take a SESSION class?
We welcome anyone 14 years old or older. If you are under 18 we require a parent or guardian signature of permission. The permission form is available at SESSION.
Are there different class levels?
Our standard SESSION is formatted for all fitness levels. We do offer an advance SESSION and we recommend that you have taken at least 10 classes before reserving a spot.
Can I take if I am pregnant?
Doctors do not advised that you try a new workout while pregnant, but if you have been working out with SESSION before becoming pregnant you can continue to do so as long as you are comfortable. Be sure to let the instructor know so that he/she may provide modifications for you as well.

How do I book a private?
